the indoctrination of boys

I had a man say to me that teachers have the easiest job in the world "what-you teach kids to add 2+2?". I was enraged-yes there are teachers that suck, there are teachers who do not do their job, there are horrible, mean, and disrespectful teachers who don't deserve to teach and actually do not teach but It's more of a complicated system than people think. What I said was "I am sorry you got pushed through school and let down by your teachers and that was a sad experience for you. You are one of the kids who has been let down by the education system." He didn't know what to think. I understand the disheartening attitude toward the education system by young men who got totally let down. They were hyper, inquisitive, and can't be controlled so basically the system indoctrinated them to the point where they were bound for jail or a life of crime.
If more teachers, administrators, and school districts (on a small level) would realize the impact of shunning the hyper kid. If they could see how that effects the child far beyond grade school then more people would stop and take a look at young men in society and what we teach them and how we act. Actually we will just stick with the example of poor boys and men because we indoctrinate children from different economic classes differently.

points on President Obama-Facebook rant

He finally pulled troops out of a pointless war....he has remained mentally in tact after a straight up bloody assault to his intelligence and policy by republicans...I would have flipped long ago...wait he bailed out the corporations and banks that ran our financial system in the ground after Bush and his posse deregulated the system enough so him and Dick Cheney and their cronies could get bloody rich! oh that blood word keeps creeping in...President Obama has improved our image with the rest of the world  because he approaches them with an air of respect and negotiation....and yes i will blame parts of his presidency on Bush because he inherited an economy in disarray, a financial and political machine that favors profit over the American people!! Before he became president  he was not in government that long in case we don't remember..yet he is trying to change decades of mistakes (aside from Clinton, in my time) in 8 years! How can the fundamental problems of our America be fixed in 8 years? He knew he only had 8 years, he knows that he only has so long and who he apppoints to the Supreme Court and the policy he leaves behind are only temporary because those who want to keep this country in the past are doing their damndest to keep us there. When he leaves office I fear that we will be brought out of the diverse beautiful nation we are becoming after years of scars made by the previous administration. The conversations happening are great and beautiful yet making us all volatile creatures because we had no idea what the social/political/ machine was suppressing in us.

Madness-corporate America-home of the free?

We can start by thinking about what the world would really be like if there was no such thing as greed. No such thing as stomping on another human being through financial stronghold or political prowess. It is hard to imagine. And honestly to reduce confusion, we will say this "a country without greed", because to say the world, is too much.
In the beginning, the country would be perfect if all of a sudden, in one day, the country would immediately become a utopia. It would not last because the automatic greed of Americans would set in! :) We would all perfect the art of con. Through having no greed, evolving out of that, the new form of conquering others and things, would become conning using extreme with more than the attitude of greed. It would be worse because we have all been taught for so long to be greedy-It is not in the direct lessons of our nation, throughout our lives, yet in the mass media, politics, economy, Hollywood-celebrity obsession, obsession with belongings and things.
People are striving to reach an unreachable goal sometimes. Striving to become what the middle class used to be. Striving to be come that yet the middle class can't even reach that goal. The middle class can't even be what the middle class used to be. I am not a hopeless person but a person who sees things for what they are and makes a call. I am not in any position where I make any real decisions that will change anything yet I am in a position to express disappointment in those who claim to be our role models, our business pioneers, our car manufacturers, the very big names we use and spend money on and speak about are the very names which use psychological consumerism to make their own profit. That is not good business practice. I am forced to shop at a store that I feel deep down contributed first hand in destroying the small businesses in my community. I am forced to buy my medicine, clothes, shoes, toiletries, and food at a store that I feel practices business on the brink of fraud and lies.
I did not step foot in this store for 4 months in 2012. My best friend tricked me to go in. She said oh I have to go to the store. I desperately needed to go to the store. So I had to do it and I haven't stopped going back since. My 10 year old daughter can see the basic human rights violations that this corporation/company commits. That's pretty sad. Then I am forced to shop there. We are all force to shop and eat at places that pay poverty wages. So in a way, we are contributing to the madness that has evolved into being corporate America. period.
