wounds

wounds do not have to be made in the flesh,
 sometimes they can be made in the heart,
in the soul,

wounds can be made by ourselves

or they can be made by others words and actions,

wounds, bleeding, open, sore,

swim throughout

slithering into my mind, to remind me that I am human

wounds can be made by sadness

and can be made by memories

Even if the one with the knife doesn't see the blood.
